I only got one photo the evening of 9/6. For comparison...
Mt. T has a larger malar stripe almost hood like. Mr. C doesn't. I think it is a new visitor.

For comparison (both are 1000x800), here is a photo of Archer under the pigeon box taken on 7/23/11.

The only pic I could find of Mr. T quick yesterday looked like pretty much a full hood, but it wasn't a full profile.
Never a dull moment...

Good pictures...MAK, I think these are yours? Good looking falcon! Good size too! It is a male? Without a comparison it's hard to tell, but it is an adult - judging from plumage. Maybe the word is out that Rochester is a cool place to nest, and there are some BEAUTY-ful females, and wild watchers, and who knows, ..could be a reality show in here somewhere!
Thank you to all you wild watchers out there!

This will be interesting or it won't! Seems like Mr C is taking after Archer. Beauty or Unity? We don't need a 4 way!! Funny how he found KP and DT. I'll never figure this mess out!

He seems to have a very dark belly and very distinct "bib". I'm feeling some familiarity too, but I don't know from where. I'm wondering about the tiercel that was hanging out in Brighton at the Psych Center...have any watchers been over that way lately? I can't recall the last sighting over there-feels like maybe a couple of years at this point.

I hope it is Zephyr. He had hung out with Beauty at the Psych Center before she hooked up with Archer but Z was too young. And if it is Zephyr, I hope he stays safe and stays

Oh, my! Those of us who are at a distance (well... not ALL of us!) sure find it hard to keep up with the latest goings-on!

I was thinking M&K offspring as the familiarity piece-Rhea Mae has that distinct belly/bib thing...

Here are a some shots of the mystery falcon that spent quite a bit of time on Xerox SW corner then flew around the buildings and landed on Chase. He was only on chase momentarily. The lighting was poor, but this was the only opportunity to catch his legs.
What do you think...does it look like a silver band on the right leg?
