DC came for a brief visit, just long enough to see the eggs, and then was off again. She doesn't look like she was at all receptive to him taking over, does she?

A bit of still video of yesterday's nestbox stand-off - DC had already been ignoring Beauty out on the SE corner for 15 minutes before she stepped up the pressure by coming to the crossbar. DC demonstrated some gutsiness for the next 20 minutes!

Shaky had noted that the tiercels always enter the nest box on the left. Dot.Ca tried a different tactic today-probably trying to get her to give him an early turn. Look at Beauty as he comes in on the wrong side!

This is a classic! A must see in archives forever! B is the alpha bird and in control for sure! Bless for, for all she has been through, she deserves her moment of glory. I only hope that this year is that moment! Love the pics that were captured!

Staring at 8 AM today, Main Camera's resolution has been increased from 2 megapixels to 5 megapixels during daylight hours. You can see the difference in these 2 pictures.
