unless my memory is failing me DC is spending more time on the eggs than Archer. Correct?
But then Archer wanted to but Beauty wouldn't let him
Don't forget, Archer spent lots of time at KP too during incu!

I know but DC has two women also and seems more attentive but then there are no eggs (that we know about) at BS

We really don't know much about BS, only there is a Pigott and an occasional DC, a scrape but what's in it?

Work has kept me hopping so I haven't been able to enter the times into the spreadsheet yet, but I don't think we'll see a significant difference once all is said & done.

DC on eggs, late night. B out eating snack he brought to her about an hour ago.
She flew out and they scuffled on Cam 4, she grabbed the FRESH snack and left.

I know I questioned Archer's egg time compared to Kaver's and there wasn't much of a difference...but from a viewing point of view-- compared to last year -- it appears that DC is spending more time on the eggs than Archer did last year. Last year was so sad -I keep seeing poor Beauty in all that rain sitting on the eggs, and then both of them disposing of the eggs. We need a hatch this year. We need to see fledges flying around Rochester again! I hope you and Shaky do another spreadsheet that shows the time Beauty and DC spend on the eggs, and maybe compare them to B and Archer, and even Mariah and Kaver.

At 5:22 pm, Beauty came into the nest box to take over laying on the eggs.

I know Donna posted this pic this morning, but I couldn't help but notice how gorgeous Beauty's feathers are. The detail in incredible. Click on the picture a 2nd time after you open it and view the large size. Cool feathers!

I am recording the switches, so we will have a chart this year to compare with prior years.

Although we lost Callidora and Archer has disappeared, this is still a very cool video!
