Whatever goes down comes out. At least the baby was not covered in remains. Beauty is a dainty feeder. At what point does she just say, "I will just do it myself!". Those husbands! I can relate.

Still amazing it goes down bones & all!
Our local raptor rehabber told us once that a problem they occasionally see is that some well-meaning person will try to rescue an orphaned raptor and will feed it something like ground beef, not realizing that birds get critical nutrients (calcium and other minerals, primarily) from the bones of their prey, and they can develop metabolic bone disease if given only meat without bones.

A scorned DC, he tried to take the food but Beauty did NOT submit this time!

DC took the food, flew off with it. He came back a few minutes later and wanted to feed. Beauty tried to take the food but DC said no way and took off with it again. Sooo, baby gets none.

Food exchange on top of Camera 4
I am so glad we put that piece of wood above the camera. It would be pointing straight down by now.

Did you see Mark B's note on chat? The flapping piece flapped off-he saw it fly past his window & found it on the ground.

No, I missed it. I knew the flapping piece wouldn't last very long.
