Beauty Found Injured - Downtown Rochester (2/10/12)

Been watching the cams thinking I would see Beauty. Such a routine for me waiting for her on Mercury. No other visitors to the nest yet. Beauty is big and strong so who knows what damage she inflicted on the others! Maybe they beat the "wind" out of there.

omg!     not fair!  I know this is nature, but this is also what makes it so difficult for us!  Rochester's pefas seem especially hard hit.  As soon as I saw this news I felt my eyes and nose start tingling, the immediate precursor to the tears. 
I know it's the weekend but I'm hoping someone gets some good news about Beauty.  And where is Unity?

Thinking of Beauty and just checking in to see if there was any news. Carol P., thank you for posting your observations from the past week. Beauty is such a strong falcon, from exceptionally strong and fierce parents; sending all good and positive thoughts for her to get well.

Gosh I missed that and I follow her!  I just let June know that these folks probably need to be kept in the loop!  So  nice they follow them!

Just an FYI that June did attempt to contact the rehabber for an update on Beauty yesterday, but due to it being the weekend, she was unable to contact them.  We hope to get an update tomorrow.  As soon as we do, an update will be posted.
