Sad No new news! Boo hiss and I can't stand Bob Lonsberry. He's a rude such 'n such!!! Just sayin'!  grumble

Yes, I tend to agree! He cut June off every time she tried to answer. I wanted her to finish the 1st question and he ran right into another... UGH

I have no idea why Lonsberry is still on air.  He is rude and crude and vulgar to most people he talks to (and I don't hear his show all that much...thank goodness). If that is his idea of humor....he caters to the lowest common denominator.
I caught it a few times when Rachel Barnhart hosted; too bad she was not on with June today!

I think June did great!  He tries to be funny (which does and does not always translate well) but she handled it great!

Our thanks to Barbara Loucks of the NYS DEC for this update on Beauty's condition.
"Based on a conversation I had with the vet staff this morning.  The bird is doing fine, eating well on day old chicks, pheasants, etc.
X-Rays revealed no apparent fractures.  The bird is holding the wing that was drooping fine...

This seems like such good news!  No broken bones or permanent injury to her eyes.  Now we wait until Beauty heals and "the powers that be" decide where to release her.

I recorded this with my iphone, don't mind the jiggling or the background noises. I should have found a stand for my phone. Sorry, you don't have to watch, just listen.

This is a very encouraging update! Many thanks to everyone who is helping to care for Beauty, and also to whoever found her and made sure she received the help she needed.

Sheesh, let the woman talk!! She was nervous. I would be too!!

Amen to that!  She knew he was going for snowy owl but ain't no snowys in the woods!

I was not able to hear June and Lonsberry today, but I did get a text from June after it was finished.

"There are no white owls in the woods."   confused

OK, I had to agree.  It wasn't until later that I realized why she said this.   lol

I agree.  She gave a great interview in the face of a lot of rude attempts at cheap laughs.  June's a class act, and a real pro. Lonsberry is not.
