I think I can make it on Saturday, but probably not until after 9 a.m. (I have a permanent 8 a.m. phone call appointment.)

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we are going to make the WW.  Husband has bad COPD and weather is calling for >95f and humid.  Thinking about driving down next week when it is cooler and less humid.

So far it's an awesome day for the Watcher gathering.  Very warm, but there is a lot of shade in Aqueduct Park.  Orion was fed twice this morning, once by Beauty on the Telesca Bldg and once by D.C. on the base of Mercury.

We were thrilled to see Orion return to the nest box so that all his fans could see him on camera.

It was wonderful, Linda K moved the camera from Mercury to the NB and we all got a wonderful show!

It sounds like Orion and parents plus all the watchers
are having quite a show this weekend!  I hope that I

Bill and I had a great time at the watchers gathering today! There were about 27 of us plus the star of the show -Orion!  He spent quite a bit of time with us relaxing on Mercury-right above us on the building next to the park. He did some flying to TS and down onto the nest box platform and even into the box! We also got to see DC a couple times too-Beauty was on OCSR.  Great time with good friends (old and new), plenty of good food and Falcons!
