Weather Update: Hybrid storm on path toward East Coast
(10/26/12) EDISON - The pre-Halloween hybrid storm with its eyes set on the East Coast is looking more ominous by the hour.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says there's the potential for heavy rain, strong winds, rough seas, beach erosion and coastal flooding beginning Sunday night. It should peak with the arrival of Hurricane Sandy on Tuesday near southern New Jersey.

Gregorio says the severity of the storm will depend on how Sandy tracks as it transitions into a large coastal storm and moves northward along the East Coast.

Last year it was over a foot of snow, this year it will be over a foot of rain. Halloween will be cancelled again! Not looking forward to this, I'd rather have the snow! Be safe all!

May all our feathered friends and other species find shelter and stay safe during the upcoming storm.  Going to be a rough ride for them out in the open  Sad

I see that some northern states have incorporated special (higher) hurricane and windstorm deductibles into homeowner insurance policies.  A nice (for them) little feature that the insurance companies developed and perfected down here in the hurricane-prone south.  Your Good Neighbor has you in Good Hands and under a protective Umbrella!

I'm sure mine would come up with some reason to not pay
