I wonder about Pigott too. Dot.ca seemed to prefer her and P/DC matings took place while he was still trying to evict Beauty, so it's odd that Pigott apparently has no eggs yet. I don't remember her laying any last year, either.

Hi Dot! I wish we could say if she has eggs or not, but no one knows nor has access to the nest site. Because this site is private property & not protected from human intrusion, we would not want to jeopardize the safety of the falcons by speculating either. |

I do understand, Joyce, that you either don't know or cannot safely report any Pigott eggs. If there are eggs in her cubby, though, I would have expected Dot.ca to be dividing his time more equally between the two sites. Guess we'll eventually find out. Rochester falcon watching gets more complicated each year lol and I'm so very grateful that all you watchers spend most of your free time keeping us updated.
