 I'm really heart broken over this!!  I wish we had answers if there was an intruder! The buildings have been going up since last season so it can't be that or they would have left. Is RM feeling her age? Is something wrong in her? Maybe it's Tiago but apparently she knew she wasn't done yet. I feel awful and so wish I could help them all!! If I only had my way!! |

I don't think they would have left Donna, this has been their home for almost a decade for RM and for sure for Tiago. He was born in this area and this is RM's first home as an adult. This is their home. If they were new to the site I could see it but unless you pry them out with a crowbar, I doubt they'd leave and where would they go, they have 3 other nest sites abutting their territory. Falcons tend to choose the highest point in the territory - those 2 new buildings are both going higher than TS.
Tracy posted on your FB site that she and Linda have observed a third bird - she said details to come. Her comment said the bird is coming in from the east - the new buildings are obstructing their view from the east.

7.56 pm and I think RM is in nest box and Tiago at far end of ledge. 8.10 pm and both gone now. Good to see her close up though,looks good  |

It is but very cold. Toronto broke a record today, coldest day in April since 1979. Minus 11 when I woke up this morning  |

It's just so sad looking here everyday and seeing the egg alone, no longer viable, and either one or both just looking out from the ledge. So many unanswered questions... |
