Sheraton’s single chick is taking time to check out the view, or looking for food delivery. This one is growing up fast and the fledge watch should start next week, with spot checks this weekend.

Tracy Simpson, I think it was her if I remember correctly, said that they can't afford to spend the money to pay the biologists to band just one bird-so I guess single eyases won't be banded any more in Canada. |

Toronto Sheraton Centre July 4 2016 Linda Woods No food delivery this evening. The little one sat on the ledge the entire time with no interaction from Rhea Mae or Tiago. Both adults were seen circling over the area to the north of the Hotel but did not come to the ledge for flight lessons.  Just checked in now and:  Just looked again and I think that's the wee one down the end!! RM on nest edge |

July 6th 2016 Toronto Sheraton Centre. The Toronto Sheraton Watch is on and Singleton took his first flight earlier today. He was found in the direct vacinty, with Rhea Mae and Tiago keeping an eye on him. He had a good feed at 8p.m. by Rhea Mae. Tiago not wanting to be left out of the feast, decided he was going in for a bite. Well, Singleton wasn't going share anything and went after Tiago like a bull, and chased him off . Very surprising to see. Singleton was still in the exact spot when I closed the watch this evening.  Linda Woods |
