Sunshine 40 days Old
June 10, 2011 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre
Linda Woods Reports:

Well today Sunshine is 40 days old and just like any child still is at home.  Not a lot of activity this evening, with burst of mild flapping, but no running of the ledge or excitement from her or the others. Rhea Mae and Tiago stayed in view well into the evening, prompting us to stay until dark. Sunshine finally gave up and went out of our view at 8:45p.m. and Rhea Mae was still on 130 Adelaide when we called it a night.

Rain expected tomorrow.

No Fledge as yet
June 11, 2011 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre
Linda Woods Reports:

All accounted for at the Sheraton Toronto. Sunshine has not fledged as yet. Food was delivered to the nest ledge at 9:00p.m. this evening.

Today, not much activity. Did not see any touch and go from the adults. Sunshine and her siblings were seen briefly. Mainly sunshine and Kate sat on the edge of the ledge and peered out. An unusual bird was seen late this evening in the area, but identity was not made.Certainly not as majestic as the peregrines, but Perhaps not so unusual for the downtown core.

Fledge watch continues

What a bunch of lazy lumps today!

Someone was up on the stand pipe earlier, but I didn't have time to post it before coming in to work  tickedoff

I missed yesterday-family reunion picnic-so I missed a lot (MAK & Joyce-glad you guys are OK)-but thankfully I still get to see all 4 this morning!

Wondered where you were yesterday.  Hope you had a good time! Yeah, not much action today so far.

No fledge this morning
June 12, 2011 - Toronto - Sheraton Centre
Harry Crawford Reports:

When I got to the watch at 7:30am, Bruce had been there for some
time.  Just after lunch, we were joined by the Rochester Four.  It
was great getting insight into Rhea Mae’s upbringing and the goings
on at the Rochester sites.  Shortly after, we were joined by Zoe and
Annie.  Even though there was no fledge this morning, we certainly
had the capacity to deal with one.  There were three feedings and a
lot of running and flapping.  Maybe this afternoon…
