Is it me or is the quality of the new cameras such that I swear the babies are starting to get feathers! What's it 10 days since birth? Little dark spots, I see!

They are growing fast but I don't think it's true feathers quite yet. They should be growing in their second down now...gray compared to their natal down. But we've never been able to see the buds of it before!
And speaking of the excellent cam...Beauty preening!

Oh she's got quite the Pooh-do going on. They've been Bom-bard-ing her with the stuff. Head/Tail. I'm sure she's POOP-ED by now....poor Beauty.

It's something I've always noticed about peregrines, but particularly about Beauty. Ever since I first saw her picture-particularly at a distance-well, I've had a childhood flashback (is there a shudder smiley?)
