According to Chad & Chris...

"Yep, we were very surprised when the first chick hatched at 42 days and we were even more surprised this morning when the second chick hatched at 45 days! We could tell when we got the first look at the chick here early this morning that it had just hatched (it was very pink with moist, matted downy feathers)."

It looks like Seneca took the Imprints motto with her when she left.

And don't forget Valiant (formerly known as Sabrina) from 2006, who turned out to be a big boy, not a little girl  Cool.

That would be so sad...but at least #1 seems to be thriving.  Keeping good thoughts that #2 will somehow pull through...

It is always sad when one dies, but we have to trust that Seneca knows what she is doing.  We saw this first hand with Beauty and the eggs - she knew something was wrong.

I just read on the CMNH Forum that Seneca and Cheyenne's second hatch didn't make it and Seneca removed it from the nest.   Sad  The good news is the first hatch, "Warrior", is doing fine.
