3/26/23 Nest Box Visits
Now that Nova has laid her first egg, the egg watch continues. There is usually an average of 53-54 hrs inbetween.
Next egg due...
Tuesday 1-2 am
At midnight, Nova is guarding her egg.
At 1:14 am, Nova stood up and stretched her legs. It was a very windy night.
Neander comes in for his first look at his egg!
Nova returns at 4:51 am; Neander says "mine"!
After an 8 min stand-off, Neander gives and leaves Nova with the egg.
The egg stands alone!
From nighttime view to daytime view. Look at that beautiful color!
Nova and Neander together.
