So very sad.
It gives me hope though that A&B are copulating.
-ing for a re-clutch.
That's twice so far that we know of. Stranger things have happened.

It's just sad, plain and simple.
And odd that they are copulating. I thought that when Mark, the falcon watcher watcher saw it too

Sad it is , but I'm happy they didn't breed a month longer as happend in Eemsmond for three years in a row.I hope they re-clutch as Archer and Beauty are mating ??
Sorry MAK , you are in my thoughts.
I feel sorry for all of us and especially all the watchers and Shaky.
Thanks to all of you.
But I'm sure better times will come.
Greetings Carla

MAK is DT, she just found the egg on the sidewalk, she called me cryin
g . That has to be hard for her
after watching all these months.
Oh MAK, I am so sorry. You, above all, have been the devoted tracker, recorder and photographer of Beauty!
How hard for you.
But, Beauty and Archer are still here, and will still grace our skies. And maybe, just maybe, a new clutch?
Tough day for all of us, but even tougher for you.
