Congrats on the new room! PT here she comes! Something tells me she may get down (don't we all from time to time) but she won't stay down! You go MAK! I am so glad that insurance co. came through. I would think it would be automatic especially for joint replacements like this. They say knees are the roughest! Hang in there MAK! There are alot of people out here who are keeping "tabs" on you!
Hugs from Indiana!

No wheelchair racing for me but I do like the idea of a "14" on mine! To Ei it's good to be here and Annie you're very intuitive. I have gotten down at times but all of my falcon family comes through with their kind and loving words to boost me back up!

Mak looks like you have some really cool window "dressings"! Hope it won't be long before you are up and running the halls! Take care and remember this too shall pass! Just have to share this one! Here is your "light at the end of the tunnel"! LOL! Just keep focused on that wonderful day when you are free of the knee pain and walking around like a Champion!

Hi, Mak
How are you going to see any falcons in that window?
Here's some
you may have missed.

Thanks Annie you have inspired me! I have a news update: they discovered that my fever of Friday night was caused by a UTI so I will be going on antibiotics for 7 days to clear that up. The Ulnar nerve in my left arm is giving me some weakness and numbness in my left hand so it's a bit tougher to grip my walker. Tomorrow the regular physical therapy crew will be on duty and I will be starting some intense work on getting rid of that walker I'm sure! I look forward to walking out of this place on my own as soon as I can so that I can go see our Rochester falcons once again!
Keep smiling everyone!

I'm happy to announce that I have been cleared to be discharged on Friday 10/28/11. I've made some friends here at the Timothy McCormick Transitional Care Center that I will miss but my future awaits me and I must get on with it! I hope to see our fabulous Rochester falcons soon. I would like to say thanks to all the watchers and forum members that helped me along the way for without you it would have been a more difficult and lonely road. I still have some work to do but my rehab has me feeling stronger with less pain everyday!
Love you ALL!
