Just posted on FB Peregrine Place  First 2015 Peregrine eyas to be banded at Bflo Central Terminal! While Gleig flaps and screams in distress, Diamanté stays at the top of the tower ignoring the commotion below! |

CENTRAL TERMINAL
Both juvies put on a spectacular flying show with stoops, talon tagging and a game of chase dad around the tower! Then Gleig came in with a pigeon and one of the juvies grabbed onto it in mid-air but mom wouldn't let go. They got lower and lower until mom finally let go about 15 feet over our head! (Michelle)

Gleig, the male Peregrine Falcon at the Terminal not too happy with the NY-DEC getting an egg count. We may get one more egg, but we have at least 4 new peregrines hatching at the Terminal. Peregrine Falcons eat pigeons and other small birds and are a protected species in NYS. Stay tuned.  From FB  |

Sorry faithful watchers but in the constant concern for the UB birds, I forgot to tell you some good news that as of last Saturday Central Terminal had two hatches! By now, they may have all four hatched!
