I wish SOMEONE would tell us if they will be banded, and when. Has anyone been in touch with the DEC and/or June Summers? I think at least the watchers have a right to know this.
I sent a PM to Carol a while ago expressing my concerns too. The window to band is said to be between 22-27 days of age and Orion was banded at 23 days old. Many members are getting concerned that banding may not take place and there's also a concern that the eyasses are starting to explore outside the box. Can one of the Mods, Administrators, June Summers give members of the Forum an answer as to what's going on so we don't have to continue worrying about what might or might not happen? I received word last night (just read it now) that the banding will take place in the next day or two. We don't know if it's this afternoon (Tuesday) or tomorrow morning (Wednesday). Thanks so much! |
