Neander on top of the main cam
For those that have been wondering, Nova laid her first egg on 4/18/22 last year. This was her first year here in Rochester with her mate Neander. It will be interesting to see when she starts laying eggs this year.
Nor'Easter moving in tomorrow. Possible 3-7", more to the east.

I'm guessing Neander. You can see his odd white feather.
Which reminds me...been meaning to ask...has anyone seen that feather in flight or with his wing stretched out? It seems oddly shaped/positioned when he's at rest. It looks like it should be one of his carpal edge primaries, but just looks out of place.

I've seen him take off with it. The white feather looks to be in place. But you're right. It does look strangely shaped when he's at rest. Definitely doesn't bother him in flight.
