Here's the bridge I took the pics of Denville from and a couple pics of the street my brother lives on.The water is rushing so fast in the houses, they can't pump it fast enough. It just rolls back in.
The Dover pic is across the highway from me. I have never seen it so bad. I don't think anyone is going any where for a few days.
Glad You and Kara are save.WOW, lots of water .Is your brother OK ?
Greetings Carla
The wind is whipping harder now than last night. My screens are blowing off the windows!! Nothing like screen chasing!
Carla, my brother is fine, he just can't go any where.

Sounds like everyone is doing ok. That's good news!
Anyone else out there that was in Hurricane Irene's path? We'd love to hear from you.

Glad you are safe, Donna. Those pics are terrifying. The flooding damage all over is devastating. Be safe.

Hope this works. This is Downtown Denville. All the stores are under water. Never ever have I seen it like this. Devastating for these store owners.

Lots of flooding & trees down in the area. Some roads washed out. Some towns are just inundated.
I got power back sometime during the night but my pump shut off so I had no water...no time this morning to investigate. Hopefully just the low pressure switch cut out.
