Here is my Trixie - cockapoo, now almost 14 years old
Lyn
Lyn,
I never heard of a "cockapoo" and I looked for it on the internet. I understand that it is a crossing from a Spaniel and a poodle. Very logical name, very nice dog!
greetings Aafke
Aafke,
Yes my girl is mostly Cocker (her father was a black-and-tan spaniel) and very little poo (mother was a gray poodle and that made her smaller than most spaniels).
I did not know how to do the 'quote' until you did it and I wanted to answer. Thanks!

I'm loving all the posts and pics! (I'm trying to post a picture of our "kids" but my computer says no; still working on it.) One of our dogs always barks at other animals on the TV - she even barks at cartoon animals.

Hi Lyn, just click the "quote" button on a specific post you want to reply to instead of the reply button at the end of the page. Start typing after the last [/quote]

This is our Toby-all 22 lbs of him!
This is most likely the position that we find him during the day...
...but this is the position he likes in the evening while Bill and I are warching TV in the family room. LOL!

Toby was the runt of the litter (believe it or not) when we adopted him at age 6 weeks from Lollypop Farm 10 yrs ago. He started getting heavy after we had him neutered so the Vet put him on a diet which he has been on practically his whole life. When we go for check-ups, after he gets weighed, she just says "Toby is Toby". He only gets a 5 oz. can of wet food and a 1/4 cup dry/day and that's it-no table food or anything. He just maintains his weight at about 21-22 lbs. He does have IBD so he's on Prednisone every 3 days but this amount of food is what makes him comfortable with few flare-ups. Of course, he is an indoor cat and all he does is eat and sleep so...
I also want to say to all the others that have posted pics of their pets-what beautiful pets everybody has.
