7/1/23 First day of July and the smoke is clearing.
Dana and I were downtown this morning watching our falcons enjoying the beautiful morning, talon tagging and playing with each other. The fledge watch has been officially ended.
While Artemis and Jubilee were on the Widows Walk, Sterling was visiting the Powers Bldg nest box.

All 5 falcons were seen this morning. Safe and sound after 2 big firework shows last night.
Pics from today.
Jubilee spent a lot of time at the Powers nest box this afternoon.

Sterling, Jubilee and Artemis were all together on the Frontier Communication Tower platform this morning. Nova was above them and Neander was at the Powers Bldg nest box. So, all 5 Rochester Falcons seen this morning.
Lots of people walking by going to the Cornhill Festival. A beautiful morning!

Dana, Larry O and Carol P were on watch this morning.
After Larry left, Dana and I went to the High Falls and found Artemis there. It was an awesome watch!

7/16/23 Falcon Pics and Observations
Neander
Kathy O and I spent some time Sunday morning. For most of the morning we only saw Nova, first on Wilder then on the Jail Communication Tower. As we were considering ending our watch, we spotted Neander on the Wilder Bldg near the stovepipe. Then a juvie flew over, crying loudly, flying past the Times Square Bldg. I found the juvie on Widows Walk and was able to see her bright blue band. You guessed it, Artemis. She took off heading north and Neander was gone. Kathy and I searched, but could not fine either of them.
Earlier we had checked out the gorge, with no luck finding any falcons.

7/18/23 Falcon Pics and Observations
At 7:02 pm, Nova and Neander entered the TSB nest box, followed closely by Artemis, who chased them out. Dana posted the video.
In the first picture, you can see Artemis on the left side flying up to the nest box. She left at 7:45 pm. Nice visit!
Artemis
After leaving the TSB nest box, she arrived on the roof of the Powers Bldg nest box at 7:46 pm.
