An Early Morning Egg #4 for Beauty and Dot.ca! – 3/31/16

Thursday, March 31st, 2016

Early this morning, at approximately 4:37 am, Beauty laid her 4th egg! There were a few people on line to witness the event, but it was too dark to tell exactly when she laid it. A couple hours later, there was a changing of the guard, when Dot.ca arrived for his first look at his four eggs. Finally, just a few moments ago, he got up so that we had our first good look at all four! Congratulations Beauty and Dot.ca!

The 3rd Egg for Rochester Falcons Beauty & Dot.ca is Here! – 3/28/16

Monday, March 28th, 2016

It is a windy and rainy day here in Rochester, NY. But that didn’t stop Beauty from laying her 3rd egg at approximately 4:55 pm this afternoon. Lots of falcon fans were on hand to witness the new arrival. She has been averaging about 57-58 hours between eggs. So if she lays a 4th egg, it will probably be sometime early Thursday morning. We’ll be watching!

Beauty Lays Her First Egg of 2016 Tonight at 9:54 pm! – 3/23/16

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016

There were many falcon fans gathered to watch our live streaming video this evening. What was all the eggcitement about? Beauty, our downtown Rochester Peregrine Falcon was in the process of laying her first egg. It was like a virtual waiting room.

At 9:54 pm, Beauty laid her egg in the nest box on top of the Times Square Bldg in Rochester, NY. The falcons had been visiting this nest box and the nest box at the Powers Building. So until tonight, we were unsure which nest box they would choose.

Click here to link to our live streaming video.

Here are the first images of the egg captured by our Rfalconcam cameras.
