It was 39 (F) 2 (C) degrees as I started with a few clouds in the sky and when the sun came up it was bright and beautiful with a busy breeze

I checked the north end of Seneca Towers from below in my parking lot to start my watch and found Seth in his usual spot on the window ledge and Billie was on the northwest corner below the railing with her back to me.

I drove over to East Ridge Rd. but they were gone when I got there so I moved on passing Hawkeye as there were no falcons on it. I arrived downtown around 7:15am finding Dot.ca (DC) on the top I-beam north corner of OCSR from the Andrews St. bridge (ASB).
I then went to Bragdon Place but he had his back to me there so I ended up on State St. across from the Holiday Inn which used to be the Rochester Plaza Hotel for the best view of DC.
I left him to go look for Beauty, and I did as I was pulled over on the Broad St. bridge I saw her on the northeast corner of the Crossroads building. I whipped back over to State St. where I could see both of them but the Beautyful one took off as I pulled over. I looked over to DC just as he flew off the corner of OCSR and they both ended up on the green strip ledge of the Ellwanger & Barry (E&B) building. I had to make a u-turn and park in front of the hotel in order to see them and again Beauty flew off as I got there-DC was plucking feathers from prey.
Beauty returned and landed on the northeast corner of E&B and I could just barely see the wing tip of a prey bird hanging off the edge. DC finished eating and flew off followed by Beauty who took her leftovers with her. At the time, I thought there had been a food exchange with DC going to the northeast corner of E&B with the leftovers but it turned out to be Beauty.

Beauty extracted a pellet and then started eating taking time to look around for DC in between bites.
Beauty finished eating around 8:15am and a few minutes later DC flew in and landed below her on the green strip ledge and she hopped down to be with him.
I couldn’t help but post all these pics as these guys were being so cute together.
Around this time Larry reported seeing a falcon over at the Brighton site.
I left our downtown pair around 8:30am and headed for the Medley Centre. I didn’t see any PEFA’s there but when I got home to Seneca Towers I found Seth on his north window ledge and half a minute later Billie flew in and landed on the northwest corner.
Every once in a while they would gaze at each other-I love it when they do that, and so I ended my watch just before 10am with a smile put on my face by our 2 pair of together Rochester Peregrine Falcons! 🙂
