It was another one-of-a-kind morning to witness flying up close from all five fledglings! I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures and report that I’ve assembled:

Carol P. – Sunday – July 13, 2008 (Late Afternoon/Evening)

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Just a quick note to everyone.  The gorge was alive with the antics of “our” young Falcons yesterday afternoon and evening.  It rained most of the day, but once the sun broke out around 4:00 p.m., it was time to play!  Lots of Watchers, too many to mention, witnessed the show.  🙂

It was a lovely evening on Thursday, and I was lucky enough to see two of the young falcons flying in the Genesee River gorge.  Just wonderful!

Not really spectacular, but here are a few pictures from the Fourth of July holiday, and the following Sunday, the 6th — beautiful weather, beautiful birds.

It is no exaggeration to say that I got to witness the best flying of the year today– possibly the best flying I’ve seen in eight years of watching these falcons. I’ve collected pictures and a report of the morning’s events for your viewing pleasure:

Jim P- July 7 (Noon) & July 8 (Morning)

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Weather conditions have gotten worse, and the falcons haven’t been quite as active, but we’re still seeing all of them, and they continue to hone their flying skills. I’ve collected a few pictures from the last couple of days in my blog. Read about them here:
